Population Control Forums

When you pre-order the game, you are supposed to be allowed to download and play the game a few days early.  They are also supposed to charge 5$ for this.  Does anyone know how this is going to work?  I pre-ordered yesterday...I figured I would get an email about it when I ordered.  Has there been an info released on how it is going to work??

Ah yes, until a few days ago i was wondering the same thing.
I preordered from gamestop about a month ago.  JUst the other day i went and and asked about the 3 day head-start and they gave me a little card with a scratch off tab, which contains the key code.   I believe if you ordered online they will email you the code. 
In my case i register my code on or after May 3rd at register.ageofconan.com.  Than on May 14th i can start downloading the game, and of course on may 17th start playing.  hope that helps.

Cry more noobs :o anyway, have you guys decided what class you are going to play, I havent made up my mind yet

I'm pretty set on Ranger and Dark Templar...

100% sure my main will be PoM,  still deciding on my 2nd toon.
I am planning on playing with my brother also, so whatever he picks i will most likely try to pick something that will be complimentary
but who knows.  So is anyone else loser enough to have taken off the weekend of the 17th, or am i the only one? ;)

Didnt take it off, I didnt think of it soon enough :-\ But I'll be working short shifts that week so I'll be on plenty.

I hear through the grapevine that Poms, at least initially, will have the most difficult time with pvp.  Very few of their CC abilities are available early on in the game, but i assume as they gain higher levels they will, hopefully, be a force to recon with.  But we shall see, hopefully they won't be pansies, like evil, their whole life.
